Fresh and fruity flavour including pear and a hint of spice. 

Viticulture

Rheinhessen. This dry Pinot Gris is produced from vines grown in soils deposited aeons ago wehn this region formed the coast of an ancient sea (Urmeer). The windblown sand which accumulated over the soil is calles "löss" and today this terroir provides plenty of nutrients and ample water to the vines.

Vinification

The grapes are pressed gently and the juice cold fermented with selected yeasts at 16-18°C in stainless steel tanks. No malolactic fermentation, no oak.
