Tasting Notes
"We look at the ’96 popes occasionally and the bottles with good corks are still very drinkable. It has evolved into a lovely sweetly scented wine, still with nice rounded texture in the mouth. It still has a few years left in it but probably best within 5 years. The only proviso is that wines bottled under cork (even the top grade which is all we ever used) have some variability. Hope it drinks well." Charles Melton 2019
