Soft and spicy with notes of plum, blackcurrant and vanilla.
A soft fruity red with ripe berry fruit and gentle spicy flavors. The spicy Shiraz is lightened by the leafy blackcurrant Cabernet Sauvignon, integrated and enriched by the judicious use of oak.
This red wine is made from a blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon from fields in the Clare Valley. The grapes are vinified on steel tanks and subsequently, the wine is left on oak barrels for a few months before being bottled.
The result is a silky and spicy wine in fine balance with hints of sweet plums, blackcurrants, licorice, tobacco and vanilla from the dish storage. The aftertaste is persistent and pleasant.
