Marqués de Griñón Rueda Verdejo is a 100% Verdejo white wine. Elegant and balanced, it is amongst the best Verdejo in Spain.
Straw yellow, green reflections.
Intense fruit and white flowers, almond notes and fennel scent.
Round on the palate, smooth and unctuous, with a pleasant final.
Night harvested, to preserve aromatic potential and the best organoleptic characteristics of the grape prior to fermentation. Only natural yeast is present in fermentation and take place in stainless steel tanks, being completed in about 15-20 days. After standing for 2-3 months of lees contact, the wine is stabilized and later filtered for bottling.
In 1982, the great wine maker of XX Century, Emile Peynaud recommended Carlos Falcó to visit Rueda and start producing a white wine in this place. 33 years later that dream came true with the creation of this Pago wine, Marqués de Griñón Rueda Verdejo.
