Parras was born with the passion that Luis Vieira has for wine, which comes from his older generations. They operate as a negociant business plus have their own estates of which Quinta do Gradil in DO Lisboa at 120ha is clearly the most important. Quinta do Gradil winery was owned by Marquees de Pombal from 1760 and then passed through generations until Luis Vieira acquired it in 1999 investing a million Euros in land requalification and production. Parras also produces in Alentejo with key wines in Lisboa regional and Vinho Verde.
