Highly intense purple red colour.
Spicy notes, cherries, blackcurrants and small red berry jam.
Round and pleasing wine with a fine aromatic persistence, highly supple tannins, silky and very fleshy.
The grapes are harvested when just ripe, destemmed, crushed, fermented for 10 days at a controlled temperature (about 30° C) and gently pressed. The wine is racked and matured in stainless steel vats.
Varied over the whole producing area, there are sandy, clay-chalky and stony soils.
