I am a handsome golden cockapoo named Vino – hmm I wonder why my family gave me that name? Let me cock my head to the side to think about that one……ahh yes, of course, Wine……the family business known as Vino Fandango which, just like me, is very young.
I was born on the 4th November 2020 in Glasgow where I stayed until I met my forever family on the 29th December and moved to my new home in the wonderful Perthshire village of Comrie. I fitted in perfectly straight away, giving everyone lots of fun and love, especially when times were hard during the COVID19 Pandemic lockdown.
Apparently there was no question as to what my name should be, so I think it only right that I should be the mascot of the business. Especially when I am a little partial to licking some wine from mummy or daddy’s finger – it’s all part of the job.
In April this year we moved our business into Cultybraggan Camp. I am happy to report that I have a comfy bed, food & water all on tap here as it is thirsty work checking all these wines and making sure Blair packs the boxes properly. But, best of all, I get to go on lots of walks when at work too. Cultybraggan is set in the beautiful Perthshire countryside surrounded by magnificent views of the hills. There are lots of large grassy areas where I can run round and round, however I am not really quite sure of the cows in the field. I get to meet lots of people and fellow doggies as there are lots of woodland walks nearby. Very sociable, this wine business stuff!
I just love people and get very excited when they come to visit us…..yes, I will shower you with love and kisses, so beware. I might bark when you I hear you come but I am not really a scary guard dog . I am that added security on top of all that technology and cameras that seem to be everywhere – and there I thought it was just to take pictures of me...
Now that I am getting to grips with this wine stuff…..please look out for me and I promise to keep you posted with what I've been up to!
Woof Woof for now
