A refreshing white with apple and citrus aromas, and combining lemony acidity with lightly honeyed fruit, to give a fresh and dry finish.

The Pinot Grigio grapes are harvested in the first half of September. Then crushed and gently pressed before cool fermentation at 16-18˚C in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Producer
Established in 2003, Adria Vini is a winemaking venture jointly owned by Boutinot and Araldica Castelvero, the leading co-operative in the Monferrato hills of Piemonte. Our aim is to produce authentic, well-priced still and sparkling wines from local grape varieties. All aspects of production, from grape selection through to vinification, maturation, blending and bottling are meticulously overseen by Araldica's winemaking team of Claudio Manera and Lella Burdese - assisted by Boutinot's Tony Brown MW. We source from a range of private growers and cooperatives, with whom we have long term relationships, principally in Veneto, Friuli, Lombardy, Sicily, Puglia, Abruzzo and Sardinia.

2022 Italia Pinot Grigio Rosé, Provincia di Pavia IGT (25cl can)
Regular price £3.29 Sale price £2.79 Save 15%A bright, fresh and versatile rosé from Pavia in northern Italy - now in a 25cl can!
Tasting Notes
A fresh and fruity rosé with delicate aromas of red berries. Cherry and berry fruit flavours are balanced by zesty acidity to give a crisp and dry finish.

Production
The grapes are cultivated in the Pavia region of northern Italy. The dark-skinned, ripe Pinot Grigio grapes develop a pink tinge which is further enhanced by the addition of a small proportion of Barbera and Pinot Noir grapes from the same vineyards. After crushing, the skins are left in contact with the juice for 12 hours at a low temperature, followed by a gentle pressing, and slow, cool fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
