Production

Arthur Metz Wines & Crémants since 1904

Maison Arthur Metz is located at the entrance of the picturesque Alsace Wine Route, the main artery of the Alsace wine region. A major player in the Alsace wine region and the first producer of Crémant d'Alsace. By owning two vinification centers, the Vendangeoir de Scharrachbergheim and the Epfig Vinification Center, they can manage all the productions in Arthurs cellars in Marlenheim in the heart of the vineyard vinification.

Arthur Metz has implemented a winemaking strategy based on the quality of its winemakers and equipment, as well as optimal monitoring of the winemaking process. Metz has always known how to pay attention to the quality of its wines. The numerous investments made in the various production sites and the high level of qualification of the team of oenologists in place are proof of this.

Arthur Metz in Alsace

The Alsace vineyard, one of the northernmost in France and Europe, is located in 119 communes in Marlenheim in the north and Thann in the south. Parallel to the Rhine, it stretches 120 km long and only a few km wide. The vineyard covers 15,500 hectares.

Alsace, a land of contrasts of great diversity, where wine becomes a journey. One of the most famous wine routes in France proudly displays its medieval castles such as Haut Koenigsbourg, its Renaissance houses, its half-timbered houses, the flowery alleys of its colourful villages with timeless charm. It is a land of traditions and wines and offers a unique experience. A poetic walk through the Alsatian vineyards, whose rich terroirs produce the finest selection of great, fresh and aromatic white wines. This is how we harvest vines ranging from the driest to the gentlest, tailored for gastronomy, delighting connoisseurs and accompanying all cuisines.
