2023 Bodega Eduardo Garrido Garcia Rioja Viura Blanco
Regular price £17.99 Save Liquid error (snippets/product-template line 117): Computation results in '-Infinity'%Bodegas Eduardo Garrido is a family boutique winery with around 500 years of winemaking history.
Tasting Notes
This pale straw-yellow wine offers fruity aromas with apple notes, creating a refreshing and approachable profile.

Production
The Viura grape, also called Macabeo, is used preferably in the production of Rioja white wines. Its main characteristic is the production of wines with acidity. Therefore, young wines are very fresh. It allows to age the wines in the bottle, as well as in oak barrels. It is also used for the elaboration of the cavas.
Producer
Bodega Eduardo Garrido García is a family-run boutique winery located in Ábalos, La Rioja Alta, Spain, a region with over 500 years of viticulture history. Founded in 1923 by Vicente Garrido, the winery has been passed down through generations, with Eduardo Garrido continuing the tradition and now joined by Amelia Garrido, representing the third generation of winemakers.
Situated at 600 meters above sea level, the winery benefits from a unique microclimate, influenced by the Cantabrian Sea winds, and calcium-rich clay soils, which contribute to the elegance, fruitiness, and strong bouquet of their wines. Specializing in Rioja wines, the winery produces Tempranillo, Viura, Garnacha, Mozuelo, and Graciano varieties

2024 Ventisquero Explorador Sauvignon Blanc
Regular price £9.99 Save Liquid error (snippets/product-template line 117): Computation results in '-Infinity'%"Ventisquero Explorador - the adventure begins- pays homage to the Exploradores
glacier (or "Ventisquero" in spanish) in Southern Chile and all the adventurers who begin
the tour of our wines."
Tasting Notes
Bright, zesty and wonderfully refreshing. This Chilean Sauvignon Blanc bursts with lime, grapefruit and crisp green apple, lifted by subtle herbal notes and a clean mineral edge. The palate is light, vibrant and mouth‑watering, with a streak of citrus acidity that keeps everything lively and super drinkable. Finishes fresh, pure and perfect for summer sipping.

Vinification
The must was protected from contact with the air throughout the process which began
with a cold maceration for 6 to 12 hours to increase the aromatic potential. Next came a
slow fermentation at a constant temperature of between 13°C and 15°C, which enabled
the fruit aromas typical of the variety to be drawn out.
Producer
Ventisquero has the only wines in the world from the Atacama desert, making wines
further north than any other winery in Chile. Ventisquero makes wines in all other
cardinal points, the west, east and south making them a winery of diversity and
distinction. They are family owned, with 100% estate vineyards and one of the founding
wineries to push the sustainability movement in Chile. With award winning Chief
winemaker Felipe Tosso at the helm and world recognised winemaker John Duval, they
continue to take Ventisquero ‘a step beyond’.
